Llandrindod Wells has two regular events so far, for people living with dementia in their community:
Memory Café – Llandrindod Wells
The café is open every Thursday, 2:30-4:30 at the Wellbeing Centre, South Crescent, Llandrindod Wells, LD1 5DH and aims to improve well-being and reduce isolation for whole families, providing a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for people with dementia and their carers to get information and advice and talk to others with similar problems.
People are on hand to offer Information and advice and there are activities organised such as creating your own memory box, creating your own life history album, Sing-alongs as well as games & armchair exercise .
Singing For Fun – Llandrindod Wells
Held every 1st & 3rd Monday of the month at the Celf o Gwmpas/Drama Centre, Trefonnen, Llandrindod Wells LD1 5EB . 2.00—3.30 Come along and meet like-minded people who enjoy singing together.
